The BioInitiative Report

The BioInitiative Working Group released the BioInitiative Report 2012, which is available as a PDF file[2]. The report was prepared by 29 authors from ten countries, ten holding medical degrees (MDs), 21 PhDs, and three MsC, MA[1]. It covers electromagnetic fields (EMF) and health effects from power lines, cell phones, and wi-fi[2].The report concluded that there are health effects caused by exposures to cell towers, wi-fi, and other sources of EMF radiation[3]. It also found that low exposure levels are associated with bioeffects and adverse health effects at cell tower RFR exposure levels[3]. Furthermore, it stated that wireless devices such as phones and laptops used by pregnant women may alter brain development of the fetus[4], which has been linked in both animal and human studies to hyperactivity, learning and other issues. The BioInitiative 2012 Report is an invaluable resource for understanding the risks associated with EMF radiation.
